Products and programs
The 73,000 sqm, “Built-to-Suit” sorting facility is situated on a 74-rai plot at Frasers Property Logistics Park (Wangnoi 2) in Ayutthaya province in Thailand. It is designed and constructed to support an automated sorting system capable of sorting 2.2 million parcels a day, and a double cross-dock totalling 260 doors at all four sides of the centre, which facilitate a continuous flow of inbound and outbound traffic. These help enable fast and efficient sorting and distribution of large volumes of goods and on-time deliveries to support the rapid growth of Thailand’s e-commerce market.
The building is designed to conserve energy and ensure efficient resource management, through the utilisation of recyclable building materials during its construction process, energy-saving LED lighting, water-saving fittings. The facility is able to draw on renewable energy with the installation of a 275-kilowatts solar power system that reduces the release of carbon dioxide by 180 tonnes annually (equivalent to planting 3,500 trees), and enhances the living quality of occupants through the provision of a completed set of supporting facilities. Frasers Property Thailand is seeking Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)’s Gold certification for the facility.
“These awards underscore Frasers Property Thailand’s dedication and expertise in developing quality industrial facilities and providing innovative sustainable solutions that greatly enhance our customers’ operating efficiencies and enable them to achieve further growth. The company remains committed to developing a comprehensive range of products and services to meet our customers’ business needs and delivering superior experiences over the long term,” stated Mr. Peerapat.
