Covering 108 rai of land with approximately 89,000 sqm of usable area, this will be Big C’s largest distribution hub. Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a leading player in the real estate sector, has proven its expertise by securing the contract for the construction of Big C Supercenter’s largest distribution hub in Bang Pa-In District, Ayutthaya Province. Spanning an impressive 89,000 sqm, this project boasts a built-to-suit design, meticulously crafted to optimise both inbound and outbound logistics operations. With storage capacities exceeding 90,000 pallet spaces, it promises swift and efficient product deliveries to Big C branches and Pure Pharmacy stores nationwide. In addition, this endeavour underscores a commitment to sustainability, leveraging cutting-edge green technologies to minimise long-term environmental footprints.

Big C’s newest distribution centre is a state-of-the-art built-to-suit facility featuring a cross-dock layout, designed to efficiently handle large volumes of incoming and outgoing goods. With a towering storage height of up to 14 metres and a robust floor capacity ranging from 3.5 to 6 tons per sqm, it accommodates both conventional and temperature-controlled storage at 25 degree Celsius, ensuring the integrity of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. Equipped with flexible storage systems including selective rack, which allows users to pick the desired items immediately, and micro rack for storing small items, the facility can store more than 90,000 pallets and ship over 400,000 boxes per day.
Furthermore, the Big C Bang Pa-in distribution centre stands out for its commitment to sustainability with the implementation of cutting-edge green technologies, aimed at reducing energy consumption. This includes the installation of a 998-kilowatt solar panel array and a sophisticated electrical system, resulting in a significant reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by 1,920 tons annually, comparable to the planting of 37,700 trees each year. Additionally, the centre is equipped with infrastructure to accommodate electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, in line with its emphasis on green logistics. It also incorporates water-saving fixtures and highly efficient resource management systems, reducing water usage within the facility by 50% and non-recyclable waste by up to 87% compared to traditional buildings based on legal requirements. Moreover, the centre is actively pursuing LEED green building certification standards.
Mr. Aswin Techajareonvikul , CEO and President of Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited, said, “The Big C Bang Pa-in distribution centre is a vital component of the big campus.
