What activities took place during IOI Earth Month 2025?

Since 2010, our annual IOI Earth Month has empowered the IOI family to champion environmental stewardship and adopt sustainable practices. By fostering a culture of climate awareness, accountability and action, we have continuously strengthened our commitment to sustainability across the Group.
This year, we marked the 14th edition of IOI Earth Month Campaign with the theme “Cultivating A Circular Future”. This year’s theme challenges our employees to rethink waste – not as something to discard, but as a valuable resource for innovation and sustainability.
Throughout March, IOI headquarters were alive with energy as our people engaged in a series of eco-friendly activities, such as Wonky Wonders: Awareness Talk About Nature’s Perfect Imperfections, unboxing the Vegful Mania Blind Box and Lunch & Learn: ReWork, ReWood workshop. These hands-on experiences sparked insightful conversations, inspired creativity and foster collaboration on reducing carbon emissions, conserving resources and embracing the 7Rs of circularity in our everyday life.
“True change starts with each of us. Whether it is reducing single-use plastics, conserving energy or repurposing, cumulative individual actions can make a profound impact,” said IOI Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Dato’ Lee Yeow Chor. He encouraged IOI employees to build sustainable consumption habits and adopt smarter waste management practices that extend beyond the workplace.
Beyond the month-long initiatives, IOI has also taken bold steps to drive long-term sustainability. Earlier this year, we unveiled our Five-Year Strategic Roadmap for 2025-2029 which aims to position the Group as a global leader in sustainable palm products and ingredients. This roadmap not only drives innovation, competitiveness and value creation for the organisation, but also enhances our resilience through sustainability and climate initiatives.
