SEPANG, December 9, 2024 -- AirAsia is committed to supporting the Malaysia Civil Defence Department (APM) in a critical mission to deliver aid to flood-affected communities in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, amidst the ongoing monsoon season.

Flight AK6431 carried emergency supplies such as food, water, and medical necessities, along with the 15 APM team to ensure immediate assistance could be provided to severely impacted areas.

In addition to today’s mission, the airline is collaborating closely with APM to transport personnel and supplies on an ad-hoc basis, subject to operational capacity for future relief efforts. As the people’s airline, AirAsia is committed to working together with relevant authorities to provide support to communities in need during critical times.
