Thai AirAsia X (XJ), the leader in the best value routes to Japan, is resuming its route between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and Nagoya, Japan with the maiden flight scheduled to take off this 1 August 2024.Starting off with four flights weekly on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, Thai Airasia X is inviting Thai travelers to once again explore the Chubu region and enjoy its varied travel attractions. The resumption comes with a celebratory promotion starting at only 3,990 THB for a one-way trip. Book from 16 May 2024 to 2 June 2024 via the AirAsia MOVE app and at airasia.com for travel from 1 August 2024 to 29 March 2025.
Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, Chief Executive Officer of Thai AirAsia X, said: “Thai AirAsia X is strengthening its position as the leader in the best value flights to Japan, now offering four routes from Thailand to Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo and the latest addition, Nagoya. These routes have proven to be popular amongst Thai travelers and have continued to witness a very high load factor average of around 89 percent during the first quarter of 2024.
“Direct flights to Nagoya have long been highly anticipated and are in high demand. Many travelers look forward to exploring Nagoya that offers an array of attractions, including the Nagoya Castle, Ghibli Park, Oasis 21, SEA LIFE Nagoya and Legoland, while also being near other favored spots like Kamikochi, Takayama, Nabana no Sato Flower Park and Shirakawago. Nagoya is considered a gateway to central Japan and has great capacity for growth,” he said.
Nagoya is also famed for its culinary culture, popularly known as Nagoya Meshi. The cuisine features dishes like Hitsumabushi (sea eel rice), Misokatsu (fried pork) and many more that are already beloved among Thai diners.
Thai AirAsia X currently operates a fleet of seven A330 aircraft, flying direct from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Tokyo (2 flights daily), Osaka (up to 2 flights daily), Sapporo (daily), Seoul (up to 2 flights daily), Shanghai (up to 1 flight a day), Sydney (3 flights weekly) and now Nagoya with 4 flights weekly.
