Bangkok, March 20, 2025 -- Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, a global sustainable chemical company, and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) have reinforced their long-standing collaboration by signing a three-year Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), underscoring their commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering industry-academic cooperation. The agreement aims to expand internship opportunities, career development programs, and research collaborations, equipping students with industry-relevant skills to excel in the global workforce.

Since 2022, Indorama Ventures has welcomed eight interns from AIT, with one student successfully transitioning to a full-time position in 2024 through the company’s career fair initiative. Under the new MOA, Indorama Ventures will continue to offer internships to students from AIT’s School of Engineering and Technology (SET), School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD), and School of Management (SOM), focusing on preparing them for careers in sustainability, engineering, and management.

This year, one to three students will be selected for internships, gaining exposure to a global professional environment and developing critical problem-solving, leadership, and technical skills aligned with future market demands. The MOA outlines broad terms for internship opportunities and academic cooperation, further strengthening the pipeline of skilled professionals who can support Indorama Ventures’ vision of reimagining chemistry together to create a better world. This collaboration also aligns with Indorama Ventures’ IVL 2.0 strategy of future-proofing the company with an elite talent pool and robust succession planning.
