Achieving the smallest and lightest zoom lens for Fujifilm digital cameras at just 125g A standard zoom lens covering wide-angle to standard focal lengths, making X Series photography more accessible than ever

Tokyo, Japan, October 24, 2025 -- FUJIFILM Corporation announces the global launch of the “FUJINON Lens XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS” (“XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS”) from January 2026.This new addition to the “XC lens” interchangeable lens lineup for the mirrorless digital camera X Series offers outstanding image quality in a compact and lightweight form, made possible by Fujifilm’s unique color reproduction technology.

The “XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS” covers a focal length range from wide-angle 13mm (35mm equivalent: 20mm) to standard 33mm (35mm equivalent: 50mm), all within a compact body measuring just 37.5mm in length*1 and weighing approximately 125g. As the smallest and lightest zoom lens in Fujifilm’s lineup, it offers outstanding portability and a versatile focal range, making it ideal for everyday use with the X Series.

The lens adopts an optical construction of 10 elements in 9 groups, including four aspherical and three ED lenses. This configuration effectively suppresses distortion, field curvature, and chromatic aberration across the entire zoom range, delivering reliable image quality in a compact, lightweight form. The lens also achieves a minimum focus distance of 20cm throughout the zoom range and a maximum magnification of 0.25x at the telephoto end. With fast autofocus performance of approximately 0.025 seconds*2 and a four-stop optical image stabilization system*3, users can capture a wide variety of scenes–from tabletop photography to landscapes and portraits–without missing a moment.

To coincide with the launch of the “XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS,” Fujifilm will also release a lens kit pairing the new lens with the mirrorless digital camera “FUJIFILM X-T30 III” from December 2025. The combination of the lightweight, compact X Series camera and the new lens is ideal for those new to Fujifilm digital cameras.

Product Features

(1) Achieves the smallest and lightest compact zoom lens in the Fujifilm lineup at 125g

  • The lens is a standard zoom model designed for exceptional portability, with a compact body measuring just 37.5 mm in length and weighing only 125g. It stands out as the smallest and lightest zoom lens in Fujifilm’s lineup, making it the perfect choice for carrying anywhere.

  • The retractable structure of the lens allows it to be stored compactly. When the camera is not in use, the lens body becomes smaller, making it ideal for carrying.

(2) Lens design that balances high portability and versatility

  • Covering a versatile focal length from wide-angle 13mm (35mm equivalent: 20mm) for landscapes and interiors to standard 33 mm (35 mm equivalent: 50mm) for portraits and street photography, this lens makes it an excellent choice for daily shooting across a variety of scenes.

  • Adopting a 10-element, 9-group optical configuration that includes four aspherical and three ED lenses effectively suppresses distortion, field curvature, and chromatic aberration across the entire zoom range. Its compact and lightweight design delivers reliable image quality while making it the smallest and lightest zoom lens in Fujifilm’s lineup.

  • The lens achieves a minimum focus distance of 20 cm throughout the entire zoom range and a maximum magnification of 0.25× at the telephoto end. This enables close-up photography of flowers and plants, as well as portrait shots of pets, allowing you to get closer to your subject.
