Duopharma Biotech contributes RM300,000 to support Program Sekolah Angkat MADANI

December 30, 2025 -- Schools located across Shah Alam, Klang and Bangi receive funding for infrastructure and equipment upgrades, financial aid, teacher development and student mentorship

Duopharma Biotech Berhad ("Duopharma Biotech" or "the Company") has contributed approximately RM300,000 in support of the Program Sekolah Angkat MADANI in 2025. In the initiative, the Company is supporting four schools, namely Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Naga and Sekolah Kebangsaan Seksyen 24, both in Shah Alam, Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Unjur in Klang and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Abu Bakar Baginda in Bangi. The schools collectively received funding for upgrading of school infrastructure, facilities and supplies; financial aid to students; teacher development; and student mentorship, besides also receiving contributions of school furnishings in kind.

The upgrading of school facilities included enhancing the teaching and learning experience through digitalisation and introducing devices such as smart boards and tablets into the classroom. Upgrading works, by Duopharma Biotech’s appointed vendor Setia Kuasa Sdn Bhd took place from October to November 2025, and were completed ahead of schedule by a workforce that included Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students. Meanwhile, the Company also partnered with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s Community Education Division to bring the Wira Anti Rasuah programme to SK Batu Unjur in Klang, where 119 Year Six students learned values, ethics and integrity, in line with education and awareness efforts identified in the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (NACS) 2024-2028.

Program Sekolah Angkat MADANI is a national collaborative initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education Malaysia, with the objective of addressing educational disparities by connecting underserved schools with organisations capable of providing targeted support. Government Linked Companies such as Duopharma Biotech are among the entities called upon to support the needs of schools identified by the Ministry of Education through their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, whereby companies with annual Profit After Tax below RM100 million are required to adopt at least two schools.
