-- Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL, a leading provider of power and thermal management solutions, has been recognized at the Thailand Energy Awards 2024 Award Ceremony, held on December 23, 2025, at Sapphire 202 Room, IMPACT Forum, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. The prestigious award was presented by Mr. Attapol Rerkpiboon, Minister of Energy, in recognition of Delta’s outstanding achievements in energy efficiency and sustainable innovation.
At the ceremony, Delta Thailand received the award for its energy-efficient solution for green data centers under the Creative Energy category. The award was accepted on behalf of Delta by Mr. Saroj Ruangsakulraj, Senior Manager, Energy Management Department, highlighting the company’s continued leadership in delivering high-performance and environmentally responsible energy solutions.
The event welcomed representatives from 54 awarded organizations, along with government officials, industry partners, and stakeholders. Delta was represented by six staff members from its Energy Management Department, reflecting the team’s strong commitment to advancing energy efficiency across operations.
Delta’s award-winning project showcases the implementation of a green data center solution at the Delta Thailand’s BP2 Data Center, designed to demonstrate reliable, resilient, and energy-efficient data center operations. The solution integrates multiple advanced technologies from Delta, including hot aisle containment to prevent air mixing and reduce cooling demand, modular UPS systems to minimize energy losses from backup power, and precision cooling solutions such as In-row Cooling (RowCool) and Rear Door Heat Exchangers (CoolDoor) to enhance cooling efficiency even in space-constrained environments. These systems are supported by Delta’s InfraSuite Manager, a comprehensive Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platform that enables secure, reliable, and optimized operations.
Through this integrated approach, Delta has successfully reduced the data center’s Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) to below 1.45, reflecting a highly energy-efficient and environmentally friendly facility.
Organized by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy, the Thailand Energy Awards recognize projects and organizations that demonstrate excellence in energy management, energy efficiency, and the promotion of alternative energy. In addition to this national recognition, Delta’s green data center solution has also received regional acclaim, winning the ASEAN Energy Award in the category of Cutting-Edge Technology in Energy-Efficient Buildings.
These achievements reaffirm Delta’s commitment to advancing sustainable infrastructure and supporting Thailand’s transition toward a low-carbon and energy-efficient future.
