Working across a six-week sprint, participating technology companies will collaborate with financial services to explore how technology can capture live threat intelligence from financial services and securely transfer this to law enforcement to improve oversight of threats facing the industry and how technology can also be used to provide a mechanism to share an anonymised update back to the wider financial sector to provide an enhanced insight into the threat level facing the industry. As part of this WCKD RZR will leverage its DATA NOW product to demonstrate a frictionless solution for law enforcement and financial institutions to mutually distribute real-time threat intelligence and anonymised security insights.
The Cyber Innovation Challenge provides a unique platform for collaboration between London’s financial services (banking, payments, insurance) and technology companies. This year’s sector participants include Checkout.com, Clear.Bank, Legal & General, and Mastercard. WCKD RZR is joined in the challenge by KYCHub, Leo CybSec, Pervade Software, Seedata.IO, Trust Stamp and Vaultree. The technology companies will be working in parallel over the six-week sprint and will present their findings and enhanced tech solutions at closing presentations in early August. The challenge is supported by Partners, Department for Business and Trade, UK Finance, Microsoft and London and Partners.
