Vicinity has for the first-time welcomed Australia’s largest household hardware and garden centre operator, Bunnings Warehouse to its portfolio with the retailer opening at Colonnades shopping centre in South Australia.

Taking residence in 13,000 sqm of prime retail space, Bunnings Warehouse Noarlunga serves as another important anchor for Colonnades, already generating increased visitation to surrounding retailers in its first weekend of trade.

In a win for the local Colonnades community, the new Bunnings Warehouse features leading amenities for trades people and DIYers, including a five-lane drive-through trade and timber yard, a dedicated special orders desk, and a kitchen design centre. The family-friendly new store also boasts a children’s playground and café.

Sustainability was also top of mind in the store’s design and delivery with LED lights and energy-efficient air conditioning fitted throughout.

Welcoming Bunnings Warehouse to the portfolio is another demonstration of Vicinity’s broader Leasing strategy to provide communities with a diverse mix of the best local and international retailers for customers to shop, play, stay, and work.
