Vicinity Community Grants program expanded to entire portfolio

Community groups are being encouraged to apply for the second round of the Vicinity Community Grants program which opens April 1, 2024.
This is the second year of the Vicinity Community Grants aimed at empowering local community groups to deliver programs and initiatives that strengthen community resilience and connectedness. Eligible local community groups can apply for grants between $1000 and $10,000.
Vicinity's Social Impact Lead, Catherine Grbic said the grants will enable local community groups to develop and deliver programs, events, and initiatives that strengthen local communities.

Community groups are being encouraged to apply for the first round of Vicinity Community Grants, open until 30 April.

Vicinity Community Grants is focused on four key areas: youth engagement and employment, environment, education, and community well-being.
Following the success at the four centres involved in the inaugural Vicinity Community Grants in 2023, the 2024 program has been expanded to include all municipalities where a Vicinity shopping centre is located.
Applications for Vicinity Community Grants will open April 1, and close April 30. Eligible community groups are encouraged visit their local centre’s website to learn about eligibility and how to apply.
Vicinity Community Grants has a total pool of $110,000 Australia and reflects Vicinity's ongoing commitment to supporting the local communities where its centres are located. In FY23 Vicinity contributed $4.5 million in community investment through targeted community programs.
