-- Thai Union Group PCL won the 2023 National Innovation Award for innovative private organizations with outstanding product research and development. Tawat Suthasineenont, Group Director, Thai Union Group's Global Innovation Center (center), received the award from Associate Professor Dr. Soranit Silatham, Chairman of the National Innovation Agency (NIA). The event was also attended by NIA Executive Director Dr Krithpaka Boonfueng, other directors and leading public and private organizations.
The National Innovation Award has been held since 2004 to honor people who invent and advance innovations that enhance the Thai economy and society as a whole. The awards also encourage success in innovation derived from the integration of creativity and knowledge, help induce innovation in Thai society and strengthen innovation culture and awareness.
