-- Suria Capital Holdings Berhad and subsidiaries (SuriaGroup) recently celebrated a successful friendly competition with representatives from various media organisations during its “Let’s Bowl with Suria” bowling tournament.
The annual tournament brought together 30 members from Sabah Journalist Association and Kota Kinabalu Journalist Association as they competed with SuriaGroup employees in a series of matches
Under the ‘individual category’, Nurul Auni Aqila representing the media emerged victorious, followed by Basir Dillah and Abdul Limat of SuriaGroup who took second and third place.
The media bowling team further took third place under the “group category” comprising of bowlers Nurul Afiqah, John Tambanon, Hayati Dzulkifli and Nurul Auni Aqila while first and second place went to SuriaGroup.
In his opening speech, SuriaGroup’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Lai Su Yin said “Continuous engagement with key stakeholders such as the media has helped SuriaGroup build a stronger relationship within the community as well as strengthen the company’s brand awareness.”
“Friendly matches such as this is a way for us to relay our appreciation to the media for their support and coverage of the company’s activities and achievements throughout the years.”
