September 12, 2024 -- Nippon Express Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (President: Takashi Miyazaki; hereinafter, "NX Engineering Thailand"), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC. (President: Satoshi Horikiri), was selected as a "Workplace Accident Reduction Model Company" at an occupational safety and health event held in Thailand on Monday, August 26.

This event was organized by the Workplace Accident Compensation Fund of the Thai Ministry of Labour's Social Security Office to promote occupational safety and health as well as work environment improvement efforts. The event featured a safety seminar and an award ceremony for workplace accident reduction model companies, and was attended by approximately 600 participants, including senior political and administrative officials from the Ministry of Labour, executives from the Social Security Office, other government officials, and representatives from various companies.
Awardee companies were selected for meeting three criteria - zero occupational accidents between 2019 and 2023, strict compliance, and good relations between the company and its employees - and placed in one of three categories by size. NX Engineering Thailand was recognized as a workplace accident reduction model company in the category of small companies with fewer than 50 employees
