Vicinity Community Grants program expanded to entire portfolio

Community groups within Vicinity Centres local government areas area are being encouraged to apply for the second round of the Vicinity Community Grants program which opens next week.
It’s the second year of the Vicinity Community Grants aimed at empowering local community groups to deliver programs and initiatives that strengthen community resilience and connectedness. Eligible local community groups can apply for grants between $1000 and $10,000.
Vicinity Centres Social Impact Lead Catherine Grbic said the grants will enable local community groups to develop and deliver programs, events, and initiatives that make a real difference in local communities.
“We're looking forward to seeing the positive impact these grants will have within the communities in which we operate and are excited to continue building stronger connections with these important groups,” she said.

Applications for Vicinity Community Grants will open April 1, and close April 30. Eligible community groups are encouraged to visit www.vicinity.com.au/sustainability/people/community-grants to learn about eligibility and how to apply.
Vicinity Community Grants has a total pool of $110,000 Australia and reflects Vicinity's ongoing commitment to supporting the local communities where its centres are located. In FY23 Vicinity contributed $4.5 million in community investment through targeted community programs.
