Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, the “Asia’s Boutique Airline,” continues to enhance its premium travel experience with the opening of a brand-new passenger lounge at Don Mueang International Airport. The new facility offers a relaxing and comfortable space for both Blue Ribbon Class (business class) and economy class passengers to unwind in style before departure.
Embracing a minimalist yet timelessly elegant design, the new lounge has been thoughtfully crafted under the concept “Whisper of the Ocean.” Inspired by the serene beauty of the sea, it evokes a sense of calm and refinement through ocean-blue tones and natural materials that mirror the gentle rhythm of waves. The design harmoniously blends sophistication with warmth, reflecting the signature charm of Bangkok Airways.
The lounge is divided into two main zones:
- Blue Ribbon Club Lounge – Reserved for business class passengers and FlyerBonus Premier members, this zone draws inspiration from the smooth curves of sand dunes. Decorated in warm, soothing hues, it features elegant wooden flooring and finely crafted Thai-patterned upholstery, offering a refined and contemporary minimalist ambiance.
- Boutique Lounge – Designed for economy class passengers, this zone takes its inspiration from the vivid colors of the sea and coral reefs. Natural stone textures evoke the comfort of a coastal retreat, while deep ocean-blue tones paired with wooden accents create a tranquil and refreshing atmosphere. The large curved glass windows overlook the runway, providing passengers with a lively connection to their upcoming journey.
Both lounges are fully equipped with a refreshment corner, beverages, and complimentary Wi-Fi, ensuring that every moment before takeoff is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
