Dr. Viwat Kromadit, Chief Engineering Officer and Chief Executive Officer of AMATA Thailand's Real Estate Group, disclosed that Phase 3 will be carried out from 2023 to 2025 to enhance the environment's quality by managing water and wastewater and solid waste. The project targets the improvement of water quality in the public canals, primarily in "Khlong Santaprai," a downstream waterway flowing through Don Hua Lo Subdistrict Municipality, Nong Mai Daeng Subdistrict Municipality, and receiving some of its watershed from upstream Na Pa Subdistrict Municipality. Collaboration among all relevant subdistrict administrations, the industrial estate developer, private companies, and surrounding communities is key.

Phases 1 and 2, implemented from 2018 to 2020 and 2022 to 2023, respectively, achieved good results, improving water and waste management in midstream and downstream areas. The Mayors of Don Hua Lo, Nong Mai Daeng, and Na Pa Subdistricts expressed their readiness to support AMATA in raising awareness about wastewater and waste management among local communities and businesses. They also committed to maintaining and preserving local waterways in their municipalities.

“AMATA aims to foster cooperation from all parties in the signing of this MoU, with the belief that this collaboration will not only benefit AMATA and the community but also serve as a model for other communities to learn from and apply in their community building plans for sustainable water and waste management in the future,” added Dr. Viwat Kromadit.
