Ms. Tansita Akrarittipirom, Head of Commercial for Thai AirAsia, said “We, AirAsia, have increased flights during the Songkran Festival, adding a combined over 3,000 seats to Hat Yai, Khon Kaen and Chiang Mai to accommodate this peak period for holidaymakers. The carrier expects a Load Factor average of more than 92 percent through Songkran and April in an affirmation of strong demand and trust in AirAsia.

At Chiang Mai Songkran Cultural Parade 2024, the airline is going above and beyond by not only joining with its top management and staff but with Miss Universe Thailand 2022, Anna Sueangam-iam, who once interned with AirAsia during her time in university. Together, they will be honouring how Chiang Mai marks Songkran.
